Weekly Blog 2 Digital I/O (Ryan Sepe)

Last week we worked on using arduinos to make simple Input/output circuits to perform various functions. There were three exercises that we completed using the arduino, a button, and five LED’s. The first exercise had us making the LEDs blink twice a second, unless the button was being held down which they would blink 10 times per second. The Second exercise had us making the LEDs blink twice a second at the beginning, with the rate of blinks per second increasing every time the button was pressed. The third exercise   had us making a light travel across the LEDs. One button made the light go one way and a new button to make them go the other way with the condition that nothing should happen while any LED was still lit, and the button should not work at the same time.
